Ciano & Goldwasser represented a group of national tobacco lawyers in resolving a $415 million dollar fee dispute.  The settlement was reached between tobacco companies and more than 400 lawyers involved in suing the tobacco companies for fraud in the 1990�s on behalf of 25 states.  The case proceeded to Arbitration.  Ultimately, a settlement was reached, which was approved in January 2006 by U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus in the Southern District of Ohio.
