Ciano & Goldwasser represented a group of national tobacco lawyers in resolving a $415 million dollar fee dispute.  The settlement was reached between tobacco companies and more than 400 lawyers involved in suing the tobacco companies for fraud in the 1990’s on behalf of 25 states.  The case proceeded to Arbitration.  Ultimately, a settlement was reached, which was approved in January 2006 by U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus in the Southern District of Ohio.
