Phillip Ciano - - head of Ciano & Goldwasser’s Complex/Commercial Litigation Practice Group - - successfully completed his representation of another closely held Ohio corporation which outsourced the manufacturing of waterfowl decoys to its China subsidiary.  Mid-stream in production, Ciano & Goldwasser’s client was sued in federal court in Ohio and Tennessee.  Additionally, during the course of the litigation, Ciano & Goldwasser’s client’s insurer raised a coverage dispute that Ciano & Goldwasser also handled.

After months of litigation, Ciano & Goldwasser structured a creative settlement proposal involving a lump sum payment and retooling of the decoys to avoid further costly and protracted litigation.  Ciano & Goldwasser congratulates Mr. Ciano on another creative “win-win” business resolution.
