Overview
Michael is an associate attorney at Ciano & Goldwasser. He represents clients in a wide variety of complex cases, including general civil litigation, personal injury, medical and other professional malpractice, insurance disputes, business and commercial litigation, and employment-related disputes. Michael has experience with all stages of litigation and has handled matters before state and federal administrative agencies and has tried cases, argued appeals, and successfully handled mediations in both state and federal court.
Michael is licensed to practice law in Ohio. He is a member of the American, Ohio State, Cleveland Metropolitan, and Akron Bar Associations. He attended Kent State University, where he earned his B.A. degree in 2001. Michael later attended the University of Akron School of Law, where he served as assistant editor of the Akron Law Review, was a member of its Jessup International Moot Court competition team, and served as executive editor of its Journal of Technology Transfer (now the Akron Journal of Intellectual Property). Michael obtained his J.D. degree in 2005. Before joining Ciano & Goldwasser, he began his legal career at respected Plaintiff’s firm in Akron and later spent almost three years at a large Cleveland defense firm.
Michael is proud to be associated with community legal aid programs, through which he volunteers his time and handles various pro bono matters.
