Andy Goldwasser – Chair of Ciano & Goldwasser’s Personal Injury Practice Group - recently obtained back-to-back jury verdicts in two personal injury cases.  Both cases involved Andy Goldwasser’s advocacy on behalf of children.

The first case involved an 8-year old boy who was hit by a motorcycle while attending a motorcycle event with his Grandmother.  At trial, Mr. Goldwasser successfully argued that the restaurant was at fault for allowing Nick to watch the motorcycle event in a coned-off area.  The restaurant denied liability.  Ultimately, the jury returned a verdict in favor of Plaintiff that was 30 times greater than the settlement offer going into trial.

The second trial involved a 6-year old who was bit on the face by a Siberian Husky dog.  As a result of the bite, Ciano & Goldwasser’s client had an L-shaped scar underneath her left eye.  The jury returned a verdict that was more than double the amount of the last settlement offer made prior to trial.
